Finding Amano to be the ‘place for a taste of Italy a little closer to home’ with a ‘relaxed, yet chic Mediterranean atmosphere’, the team at House of Coco enjoyed Amano’s ‘impressive gin selection’ and our traditional Crodino Spritz was billed as an ‘excellent aperitivo’. The grilled calamari was described as the ‘stand out dish’ from our antipasto Amano, with the creamy burrata and prosciutto coming in a close second, and our pasta labelled as ‘simple yet satisfying’ and ‘ideally textured and firm’.

They also spent the night in Isabella, one of our four boutique bedrooms, and appreciated the ‘well-stocked mini bar complete with Italian treats’, our ‘indulgently fluffy towels and robes’ and our luxury Green and Spring bath and body products.

The Guardian’s 50 Best Hotels & B&B’s

We were delighted to find ourselves included in The Guardian’s rundown of the 50 best hotels in the UK and in their shortlist of the ten best foodie hotels! Giving a special mention to our ‘perfectly textured’ pastas, there is also a nod towards our four ‘smart but restful’ boutique bedrooms, complete with ‘big, comfy beds, great linen, Bluetooth radios and posh tea and coffee things’.

Amano was featured in Fabulous Magazines #Fabbites column in the Sun on Sunday.

Enjoying our ‘delicious cocktails’ and mentioning our ‘moorish tiramisu martini’ specifically, Clare Frost from Fabulous magazine enjoyed our grilled calamari and maltagliati with salt codbefore finally recommending that you ‘make a weekend of it in one of the four comfortbale but stylish rooms’.

The Telegraph’s Travel Review of Amano

Describing Amano as ‘a real find’ with ‘fresh and fabulous’ food served in ‘supremely stylish surroundings’ we were delighted to receive an 8/10 review from the Telegraph. Noting the uncompromised comfort of our guest bedrooms, Amano was described as a ‘slice of millennial heaven’, whist our menu is ‘full of temptation’ and the food ‘without exception, superb’. Our breakfast was also thoroughly enjoyed, with the ‘Italian twist on Eggs Florentine well received thanks to the fragrant foccacia it is served on, and our range of ‘zingy’ fresh juices, breakfast cocktails and good coffees.
